AI agents

Native AI agents, not third-party add-ons

DrChrono supports AI scribing through third-party integrations rather than a native capability. This means the AI layer operates outside the core charting workflow — data moves between systems, and the practitioner manages two interfaces. Billing-code suggestion and automated denial resolution are not part of the platform.

Trustro's three AI agents are built into the EMR. Scribe listens to your visit and drafts a structured SOAP note that populates the same chart fields as a manually written note. Suggest reads your documentation and recommends CPT and ICD-10 codes matched to payer-specific rules. Agent identifies denial reason codes on rejected claims, recommends corrections, and can resubmit. No third-party integration to manage, no data leaving the system. The practitioner always retains final sign-off.

Billing

From eligibility check to payment posting, in one system

DrChrono provides billing capabilities including claim submission and basic tracking. However, the billing workflow does not include AI-powered code scrubbing before submission or automated denial management that identifies denial reasons and resubmits corrected claims. For practices with significant insurance volume, these gaps often require additional billing staff or outsourced RCM services.

Trustro's billing pipeline runs from eligibility verification through EDI submission, ERA/EOB processing, payment posting, and denial management. The Suggest agent scrubs codes before submission to catch common denial triggers — incorrect modifier usage, bundling violations, medical necessity gaps. When claims are denied, Agent identifies the reason code, recommends the correction, and can resubmit without manual intervention.

Multi-language

Arabic, Spanish, and English — not an afterthought

DrChrono's patient-facing portal and communications are English-focused. Practices serving multilingual communities typically manage translations through external processes — adding friction to intake, appointment confirmation, and patient communication workflows.
